Transmission of Spirit Desire – La Manufacture

During four transmission periods, young dancers from La Manufacture CDCN’s Groupe Spécial d’Immersion Chorégraphique (G–SIC)* are invited to join the world of the piece Spirit Desire.
This new piece dedicated to young dancers will be informed by the Practice method, which brings out the creativity and expressiveness in everyone. The dancers will go through Practice to discover their dance and make it visible in real time. Together, the members of the group will give life to individual and collective images and build a multiple space, like a living membrane; Thanks to its immersive, quadri-frontal set-up, Spirit Desire will invite audiences to get up close and personal with this instantaneous creation, to feel the vitality of the space and share in the sensory experience.
*The G-SIC project is aimed at a group of young people aged between 15 and 25, who may or may not have some experience of dance. The aim is to discover contemporary dance and the work of a choreographer through workshops, meetings and the performance of a short piece, to follow a creative process and experience the stage.

- January 13 + 14: practical workshops
- February 26 to 29: practical workshops
- March 30 + 31: practice workshops + masterclass with Yuval Pick (tbc)
- April 27 + 28: practical workshops
